Overview

The SP70-PW had a 20-ft cable with a connector for the prewired enclosures. The only difference between the retired solar panel and an SP70-L-PW is that the newer solar panel has a user-specified cable length. For specifications and mounting hardware information, refer to the SP70-L page (see related products).

Detailed Description

The SP70-PW's 20-ft cable is fitted with a connector for attachment to a prewired enclosure. This 70-W solar panel typically recharges the user-supplied 12-V flooded battery used in systems with large power requirements such as the CO2 Bowen Ratio and CO2 Eddy Covariance Systems.

A 18529 Morningstar SunSave Regulator is required. Two SP70-PW solar panels can use the same regulator to provide 140 Watts of power.
