The CM6 is a galvanized-steel-pipe tripod that provides measurement heights up to 6 feet (2 meters) and support for attached sensors and mounts, solar panels, and environmental enclosures. The tripod legs are individually adjustable, allowing adjustment of our wind set's measurement height, and tripod installation over uneven terrain.
Read MoreConstructed out of corrosion-resistant galvanized-steel pipe, the CM6 provides measurement heights of up to 6 ft (2 m). This general-purpose instrument mount supports the attachment of sensors and mounts, solar panels, and environmental enclosures. Individually adjustable legs allow installation over uneven terrain. The CM6 includes lightning and grounding rods, grounding cables, grounding cable clamps, ground stakes, and UV-resistant cable ties.
If shipping weights/dimensions are a concern, a CM6 can also be constructed from a CM10K Tripod Kit.
The CM6 offers a stable instrument mount in relatively high winds (ratings below are for an unguyed CM6). The guy kit for the CM10 can be adapted for the CM6, but offers only a minimal increase in tolerance.
