The SN500SS Sensor Mounting Kit accommodates the SN500SS Net Radiometer and was designed to fit the mounting rod that comes with the net radiometer. The mounting bracket can be mounted to a mast or pipe.

Detailed Description
The 32295 SN500SS Sensor Mounting Kit consists of a spring-mounted leveling plate attached to a right-angle mount with U-bolts. The right-angle mount allows the leveling plate to be installed along a 2 in. (O.D.) vertical mast (pole) or on the end of a 1.75 in. (O.D.) horizontal pipe.
Note: To avoid shading effects and to promote spatial averaging, net radiation sensors should be mounted at least 1.5 m (4.92 ft) above the ground. Campbell Scientific recommends mounting our net radiation sensors at least 7.62 m (25 ft) away from other structures in the monitoring system.
